Dr. Natalie, a licensed naturopathic physician, published author, speaker and woman with Endometriosis.

Hi, I’m Dr. Natalie, a licensed naturopathic physician, published author, and speaker.

But really, I’m a women’s wellness warrior on a mission to change the way women relate to ourselves and to our health.

I am also a woman with endometriosis.

I used to experience debilitating pain and vomiting every single month. It wiped me out with fatigue and got in the way of school, work, and relationships. I had a deep sense of shame about my condition and I lived in absolute fear of my period. I generally managed my pain with continuous birth control and lots of pain medication. Eventually, about 10 years later, I experienced a health crisis as a result of the medication I was taking. It forced me to take a serious look at my body and the ways I was coping.

I decided I needed a change. I found a way to heal through natural medicine. I have been symptom (most importantly, pain) free ever since.

This experience inspired me to earn Doctor of Naturopathy degree following my Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. So that I could help women like me learn that there is a way to manage this condition. A way that works with your body instead of against it. A way that fosters better long-term health.

It is my mission to help other women with endometriosis understand how to heal their own bodies so that they may overcome this awful condition without having to rely on medications and surgeries that damage their health in the long-run.

I am a personal development junkie and I LOVE food of all kinds. When I’m not researching the most up-to-date science on natural medicine for endometriosis, you can find me at the gym lifting weights, spending time with friends, or traveling with my husband.

The old one, the One Who Knows, is within us. She thrives in the deepest soul-psyche of women, the ancient and vital wild Self. Her home is that place in time where the spirit of women and the spirit of wolf meet- the place where the mind and instincts mingle, where a woman’s deep life funds her mundane life. It is the point where the I and the Thou kiss, the place where, in all spirit, women run with the wolves.
